About Me

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I attended and graduated from a vocational high school, where I learned analog and digital photographic practices. I continued my education by receiving my Associates in Fine Art Photography from Phoenix College. From 2006-2016, I worked for a photography studio in Phoenix, Arizona, where I gained knowledge of the portrait industry. I was the digital artist, as well as a studio photographer for the company. While working full time at the portrait studio, I continued my education at Arizona State University where I received my Bachelors in Fine Art Photography. In August of 2016, I left the portrait studio and began my teaching career in Avondale, AZ where I taught Digital Photography. In July of 2017, I moved to San Diego and accepted a position at San Marcos High School, where I continue to teach digital photography today. Outside of work, I try to visit Arizona as much as possible to see friends and family and I try to shoot every weekend, for myself, to keep challenging myself and growing as an artist.
